If you're suffering from occasional constipation, Fleet Glycerin Suppositories provide fast relief. That's because the suppository is inserted rectally, allowing it to act locally in the colon without having to go through the entire digestive system. Glycerin is a hyperosmotic laxative that attracts water into the stool and promotes bowel movement.
Active Ingredients :
Per Suppository: Glycerin, USP 2 grams.
Inactive Ingredients :
Edetate Disodium; Purified Water; Sodium Hydroxide; Stearic Acid.
Direction :
Insert suppository well up into rectum. Suppository need not melt completely to produce laxative action. Single Daily Dosage : Adults and children 6 years of age and over: 1 suppository. Fleet Child Suppositories are available for children 2 to under 6 years.
Warning :
For rectal use only. Ask a doctor before using any laxative if you have abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting; a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks; already used a laxative for more than 1 week. Keep out of reach of children. to prevent accidental ingestion. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Other warnings: May cause rectal discomfort or a burning sensation. Stop use and consult a doctor if you have rectal bleeding; no bowel movement within 1 hour of using this product. These symptoms may indicate a serious condition.
